Injury Recovery Framework
The Injury Recovery and Early Intervention Framework (the Framework) has been developed with the primary purpose of enabling and supporting the recovery of people injured through motor vehicle trauma who are eligible to make Compulsory Third Party (CTP) insurance claims commencing with the lodgement of the Injury Claim Form.
The Framework supports the CTP Regulator’s objective of enhancing outcomes for injured claimants through reasonable and necessary evidence-based medical and allied health interventions.
The Framework aims to clarify each party’s role and responsibilities in supporting injured claimants in their recovery. The Framework also provides guidance to injured claimants on how to interact with the CTP system, and how to minimise any concerns about accessing treatment and payment for reasonable and necessary interventions.
